Willie Jackson

I started as an IT consultant. Enterprise software deployments at Accenture, then years building digital platforms and learning infrastructure. I kept gravitating toward a harder problem, though: how do you get people to actually change? How do you build organizations where that change sticks?

That question led me to Seth Godin's altMBA, where I served as Founding Technical Lead and helped build a global leadership program now reaching 7,000+ professionals across 100+ countries. It led me to found Abernathy, a magazine dedicated to Black leadership and identity, and eventually to ReadySet. I spent seven years there leading inclusive leadership programs for 200+ organizations worldwide, ultimately as Partner and Head of Growth.

In 2015, I launched Jackson Talent Strategies to focus entirely on the work I care most about: helping executives and HR leaders design strategies that actually move people. No junior team between us. No off-the-shelf curriculum. Just rigorous, relational work built around what you're specifically navigating.

Today I partner with organizations on AI upskilling, leadership development, and large-scale organizational change. Based in Dallas, working with clients globally.

Start With a Conversation

Before anything else, we talk directly. You describe what's happening, what's been tried, and what success would actually look like. No pitch deck. No intake form. Just a real conversation.

Diagnose Before Prescribing

Through interviews, observations, and review of existing data, I work to understand the real problem, not the presenting one. Most organizations know something is wrong. Fewer know exactly what.

Design the Engagement

Together, we define the scope, format, and timeline. Engagements are tailored, not templated. Some are six-week intensive sprints. Others are 18-month partnerships. The work dictates the structure.

Work Alongside Your Team
